Rev. Robert S. Jackson, a native of Richmond, Virginia and pastor of the Washington Metaphysical Church, has studied scripture all his life, earning an associate degree in biblical studies at the National Bible College near Washington DC in 1973. As his spiritual understanding grew, his studies took a new turn and he was ordained a metaphysical minister at the Roanoke campus of United Metaphysical Churches in 1998.

Rev. Jackson's experience in meditation, counseling, platform healing and outreach covers more than 30 years. He has shared his time with the Accokeek Boys and Girls youth group, Hillcrest Community Center, Howard University Hospital's psychiatry ward, and the students of Overlook Elementary school, as well as counseled unwed mothers through Planned Parenthood of the National Capital Area. He has appeared on the syndicated talk show "The Right Side" with Armstrong Williams, and continues to be on call to speak on the subjects of healing and divine metaphysics.
