At WMC we believe that prophecy -- in its modern form of messages and readings -- is another of God's gifts - to be treated with reverence. Though we strive not to become too dependent on understanding relayed through others, we nevertheless believe that -- at its best -- prophecy can help us:

• Understand the world and our purpose in it
• Discover new or overlooked gifts within ourselves
• Give us the courage to pursue new activities and creative endeavors, and
• Deepen our commitment to ourselves, to others, and to God.

For these reasons brief individual messages are part of our regular service on the third Sunday of every month. They are also often incorporated into Rev. Jackson's classes and circles. Private readings, usually about 45 minutes long, are also available, usually for a fee, at a mutually agreed-upon time. (301) 706-8718.
