We recently announced that due to the risk associated with COVID-19 and the temporary closing of the facilities, services have been suspended until March 29. In lieu of the worship service on March 15, at 10:00 a.m., Rev. Robert Jackson will conduct an absent healing meditation. The meditation will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. will end at 10:30 a.m.

If you want to participate and benefit from the healing energies, please sit quietly, put your attention on Rev. Jackson, and be open and receptive; you will receive the healing energies that you need to help neutralize the fear as you deal with the current crisis.

There will be no healing and worship service on Sunday, October 13 due to UMC convention and ordination. We will resume services on October 20.

We are pleased to announce a new schedule and small change in location for our healing and worship services starting in May 2019.

Effective May 5, healing will start at 9:00 a.m. and the worship service will start at 9:30 a.m. All our services will be moving from the main sanctuary to the small sanctuary (room 204) of Northminister Presbyterian Church. To enter the small sanctuary, use the smaller door on the left side of the church main entrance.

There will be no service on October 7. Rev. Jackson and Rev. Marks will be in Roanoke for the ordination of Dr. Nancy Booth and Ms. Teresa Bailey. We look forward to resuming service on October 14 with the monthly Common Union Service.

There will be no worship service on Sunday, June 11, 2017.  Instead please join us at Argyle Park for the Church’s annual picnic/anniversary party from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. We are at a new facility this year – Argyle Park on Forest Glenn Road (between Colesville Road and Georgia Avenue). There is an indoor facility with air conditioning as well as outside areas to picnic and for the kids to play. Bring a friend and your favorite dish!
